- Ward defeats Gatti by Mixed Decision in the first fight before losing the next two by Unanimous Decision
- Reigned as WBU Light Welterweight Champion from March to October 2000
- Ecklund's most famous fight was with future Heavyweight Champion Sugar Ray Leonard. Leonard won by unanimous decision. In the ninth round, Leonard fell, which the referee called a trip, despite Leonard later saying he had slipped
- Ward's earlier career is the subject of the Academy Award winning 2010 movie the Fighter, with Mark Wahlberg playing Ward, and Christian Bale playing Eklund
- Excellent condition; little to no visible handling wear. Autograph presents very well with no smudging or bleeding
