  • Constantius II was the second son of Constantine the Great. He and his two brothers succeeded their father as a triumvirate, with Constantius II given control of the eastern third of the Empire
  • Constantius II and his brother, Constans, jointly issued a series of coins commemorating the 1,100th Anniversary of the founding of Rome
  • After his brothers died in combat against rebels, Constantius II led his army west and reunited the empire
